Spring/Summer trends

The wather is getting really nice this days, feels like summer will be here in a bit! So what is the best time to update your wardrobe to the latest trends.

#1 Boyshorts and hot pants
You can rock the hotpants, the boy shorts and even the high-waiste short. There are many prints from black to pink to a bold african print. Don't be afraid to wear something bold! Also if you feel you show too much skin trow a blazer on top and you'll be ready to go!

#2 Jump/playsuits
You can rock this look while going shopping, on a date, to the grocerystore, evening and so one. You can find this suits in a sporty materal or as denim. You can easely style the jump/playsuit by putting a nice vest or denim jacket on it, some sandals and maybe a statement necklace. And the thing i love is to see a girl with a suit like this and a cute hat! Can never go wrong

#3 Lace, sheer and see-through
This is the most 'uncoverd' look that you can get this season. The lace, sheer and see through trend is great for thos who love their body and ain't afraid to show it. But remember there it something like too much. Don't wear a lace top with other lace/sheer stuff or really short shorts. You need to keep it simple and classy.

#4 Patterned pants
With this trends it doesn't matter what kind of print it is aslong as it is bright and bold. I live the floral print and stripes. The cut can go from skinny to shorts to harem pants and even jumpsuits. If you have a lose printed pants make shure that the top is fitted so you won't look like a bag of patatoes.

#5 Over the knee socks
Knee high socks is i think the trend that not so many of us will follow. The socks can make a statemant if you rock it right and choose the lenght, like if you are short like me wear knee-high sock that stops right below your knees. You can pair this up with a high waist skirt, a dress or a cute short. Which trend is your favorite?

The little black dress

Everybody knows the little black dress. The fashion must have for every woman. The LBD was introduced in 1920 by nobody else than Coco Chanel. They are simple but chic, classic, timeless and till today a favorite. You can wear it to work and to a party with a few accessoires added.

The LBD comes in many styles, designs and shape. They can be simple, strapless, one shoulder, tight ect. For everyone there is a dress. You can wear it simple or dress it up with a jackes, high heels, a clutch and some great earrings. You can do whatever you want with your hair aslong it's not messy and uncombed. A LBD is always a good alternative if you don't know what to wear. You will look great!

2010 Hair trends

2010 just started but with a lot of new hair styles! From sweet and innocent to heavy. Below some hairstyles for spring 2010.
Braided and Plaited hair.
Seen on Alexander Wang, Prada's, Miu Miu and Missoni 2010 Spring runway and on street style pictures. You can rock the long side braid or the fish plait. It looks great if yo have bangs!

Waved hair.
Get your flow on and create beautiful waves. Suits any hair colour and hair that's below shoulder lenght.

'70 inspired
You can wear two styles: The straight and the flowy. The straight hair should not be too straight but should be voluminous. It fit's all occasions. The flowy hair has natural looking waves with a middle or side part.

Slicked hair
The slicked hair can be styled on three different ways. One is that the hair is slicked back with gel and combed with the fingers or wide thooth comb. The second one is that you only slick the side back and your side swept bang or lock gives it the maximum effect. The last one is that you have a side part and slick both sides into a ponytail or so.

The Chignon.
This is an elegant low bun or twist that's done at the nape. Great for day and night. You can compare this to a low messy bun.

The top knot
The sleek top knots sits right on top of the head. These styles works best on straight hair. Slick all the hair to the top and twist yor hair arond. You also have the messy top knot. Just put the hair up and randomly put/swirl the hair for a nonchalance look.

Celebrity style inspiration

Kim Kardashian.
The first time i saw her i found that she had a really pretty face. After i saw more of her i realized that i really like her style. She know how to dress and her hair is always on point! And her make-up is stunning ofcourse. Probs for that.

Vanessa Hudgens
I never saw anything of her, i heard one song 'Gotta go my own way'. But that was pretty much it. I like how she rocks different styles. One day she looks all classy the other day she's a rock chick.

The Simmons sisters
I love to watch Run's house! My fav' are Vanessa and Diggy and i like vanessa's style. Very casual but with her own twist that make's it cute. I don't really like Angela's style. The only time i find she is rocking it is at a event or so.

Lauren Conrad
I loved watching the hills. But i don't really watch it anymore she Lauren left. She has the most adorable style. Girly and cute. I like how she wears her dresses and skirts and the way she wears her hair.
