DIY: Avocado conditioner (old post)

*So let me explain; my advo-mix is a mix of avocado, honey, coconutmilk and one egg. I use this because avocado can help promote healthy hair growth, are rich in fatty acids, it trap in the moisture and keep it locked so that the hair shaft can receive the moisture it needs. The coconut milk can help hair loss and makes your hair soft. Honey gives your hair great shine and an egg yolk because it makes your hair stronger.

You will need: Half of an avocado, egg yolk, coconutmilk, honey, a mixer, hooded dryer.
Step 1: Grab all the things you need. And put it in the mixer till it becomes a smooth paste.

Step 2: Put it in a container and wash you hair like normal after you washed your hair, towel dry and put the avomix on for 15-20minutes under an hooded dryer.

Step 3: My hair before the shampooing and avomix..

Step 4: After the mix follow up with a leave-in and let it air dry.

Step 5: (Optional) If your hair is airdried wrap it up and do a saran wrap for 15minutes.
Step 6: Styl your hair as usual. Your hair will be soft, silky, shining and moisturized.

DIY: Clip in bangs plus simple hairband

DIY: Clip in bangs
I always wanted bangs but i don't wanted to cut my hair so i decided to make clip in bangs. It's very simple, I took me like 5 to 10 minutes. I'll be making clip-in extensions when i get more clips!

You'll need:
Wig clips
Needle
Thread
Extensions
Sissors
This video and this one to see how to blend your bangs in.

DIY: Simple hairband
You'll need:
Broche
A ribbon or white hairband
Sissors
Lighter

Cut off the ribon right so it fits around your head.
Get the ends with a lighter so it won't chip.

Attach the broche (it's from H&M btw) and you're done.
Make a lil twist and you're good to go.

My oilmix

The oils i use:
Almond oil: Nourishes, softens, condition and protects the skin.
Jojoba oil: Is close to our natural skin oil. It helps to balance the skin and make it more 'calm'.
Nerts olie/Mink oil: Slows down the aging process and the production of oil. Stimulate the production of new cells.
Glycerine: Is a humetant, it attracts moisture to your skin.
Tea tree oil: Kills bacteria, infections and helps to prevent a pimple.
Rosesip oil: Rehydrates and nourish the skin, repairs damaged skin cells and reduce wrinkles.
Vitamin E oil: Great for fading imperfections, anti aging, protect you skin against the sun and helps to retain the skins natural moisture.

What i do is i take my Almond oil and fill like 1/6 of my bottle with. After that i take my Jojoba oil and Vitamin E and put the same amout as Almond oil in it. After that i put 15 drops of Mink oil, 15 drops of Rosehip oil, 10 drops of Tea tree oil and 7 drops of Glycerin. Shake it all up for ten seconds and there you have it. Very simple, and it goes a long way because you just need a few drops to moisturize.

When i first maked my oilmix i made a little bit to see if it worked for me. After one week of use i noticed that my skin became more smoother and less oily. After two weeks of use my skin was smooth, really soft, moisturized, hydrated and pimple-free. I now and then get one at that time of the month but other than that i haven't experienced any pimples and if i do i dot it with tea tree oil and it is gone before i know it. So it's now four months ago that i started with my oil mix and it's the best moisturizer. It's all natural, i know what's in it and the benefits of it and it helped my skin so much. The only oily spots on my face are my nose and the space between my eyebrows but it's not that oily anymore, the rest of my face is more combinated. This ones a keeper!

DIY: Tinted sunscreen

*Instead of the sunscreen you can use a moisturizer or something of your liking.
What you will need: Sunscreen, foundation or powder, a container, something to mix it with.

Step 1: Grab all the things you need.

Step 2: Put a little bit of sunscreen in the container.

Step 3: If you use powder apply powder to the sunscreen and mix. (I personally don't like it with power because you get little dot's in your sunscreen and has minimum coverage)
Step 4: Apply foundation to the sunscreen and mix it up
Step 5: Make sure that all the white of the sunscreen is gone, if so, test if the color is right for our skintone.
Step 6: Clean the container and you are all done!
